Penso que viver a Arte, é não se envaidecer com ela, é não se colocar acima dela.

Quando trabalhamos com a cultura popular, com aquilo que vem lindamente do povo, ensinado pelo povo, temos uma grande e séria responsabilidade de cuidar e repassar esse bem que nos foi ensinado. Sinto-me hj assim, responsável em preservar, repeitar, valorizar, ensinar a arte e o folclore do meu país, do meu Pernambuco.

Conhecer as suas raízes é adentrar-se nos sertões do Brasil.

I think that to live the Art is not to get vain with it, is not to put yourself above it.

When we work with the Culture Populaire, the thing that comes from the people, taught by the people, we have a huge and serious responsability to look after it and teach the others what we've just learned .

I feel like this today, responsible for preserving, respecting, praising and teaching the Art and the Folclore of my country, of my Pernambuco. Knowing my culture is to get into the Sertões do Brasil.
